The second annual Australian Control Conference (AUCC) is organised by Engineers Australia through its National Committee for Automation, Control and Instrumentation (NCACI). It is technically sponsored by the IEEE Control Systems Society. The purpose of the conference is to provide a forum for Australian and International researchers, students and control engineers from industry and Government organisations to exchange ideas and recent results, as well as discuss current problems arising in control engineering research and industrial practice. International contributions are encouraged and will be solicited for.
The technical programme consists of oral presentations, poster presentations, keynote lectures and special industrial sessions whose purpose is to encourage a better exchange between practising control engineers and researchers in universities and government agencies. The proceedings will be available from the Engineers Australia online library and from IEEE Xplore®,and will be indexed by EI (subject to confirmation). The conference will be held on the campus of the University of New South Wales in the Sydney Eastern Suburb of Randwick.

Step 1: Please fill in the Transfer of Copyrights Form with your details and sign it.
Step 2: Please prepare your paper using the IEEE style files provided on the conference website. Contributed Papers have a 6 page limit and Industrial Abstracts have a 2 page limit. If the authors would like to have extra pages published (up to 8 pages for contributed papers and up to 4 pages for Industrial Abstracts), they can make an extra payment of $100 per page. The payment can be made here.
Step 3: Each paper should have at least one full registration paid for before the paper can be uploaded. If all authors of the paper are students, then a student registration would be accepted. Please pay for your registration here. You will need to save a receipt of your registration.
Step 4: Please email a copy of your registration confirmation along with your paper number(s) to [email protected]

Step 5: Please allow a couple of days for processing. Once we have processed your information, we will enable you to upload the final version of your paper at the Papercept website. Before the upload, please test your pdf file to ensure that it complies with the IEEE format. The program for file testing is available at the Papercept website.

Best Student Awards:
This award will be presented to a student whose paper is selected by a committee. The award consists of a certificate and a check for AUD $500. Runner ups will be awarded a certificate only
Eligibility: the accepted papers on which a postgraduate/undergraduate student is the first named author are eligible for the award. In particular, the first author should be enrolled as a postgraduate/undergraduate student on the date of the conference submission deadline. The student's supervisor should write a nomination letter confirming the student eligibility and outlining the reasons for nomination; the letter (emails are accepted) should be sent to the conference secretary Daoyi Dong before 15 August 2012.
